The Lenovo Edge-NextGen Program is a cross-functional early-career development initiative designed to build future-ready talent across Asia Pacific
As part of the HR track, we are looking for a dynamic and digitally savvy Strategic Business Partner to join our team. This role is crafted for an early-career professional who brings curiosity, learning agility, and an entrepreneurial mindset in a highly matrixed, fast-moving environment. You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to drive business priorities, support strategic initiatives, and execute projects that create a measurable impact.

Job Responsibilities
1. Partner with business leaders to understand strategic priorities, operational challenges, and people implications, providing clear insights and recommendations
2. Support development and execution of business strategies through data-driven insights and rigorous analysis
3. Collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders in a complex matrix structure to drive alignment and ensure seamless execution
4. Lead small-scale projects and initiatives end-to-end, navigating ambiguity, adapting quickly to shifting priorities, and delivering measurable outcomes
5. Utilize digital tools and platforms to streamline processes, gather insights, and communicate effectively
6. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, applying entrepreneurial thinking to solve problems
7. Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for leadership to support decision-making
8. Adapt quickly to changes and shifts in priorities, demonstrating resilience and agility
Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources/ Business Administration/ Psychology/ Economics/ Technology or related streams
Experience:
• 0–5 Years in HR or related fields
Skills:
• Strong digital literacy with proficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and collaboration platforms (Teams, Slack, etc.)
• Natural problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset; comfortable experimenting and learning from failures
• Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed, cross-cultural environment with multiple stakeholders
• Generic understanding of HR Policies and compliances of the region, would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and build relationships
• Self-starter with a hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and making decisions in uncertain environments
Preferred Attributes:
• Previous internship or project experience in business strategy, consulting, or a start-up environment
• Exposure to Agile or lean methodologies.
• Proactive in identifying business challenges and proposing solutions
• Multilingual proficiency (English required; regional languages a plus).
• Exposure to HR technology platforms and people analytics.
• Passion for continuous learning and personal development.
Work Model: Hybrid (3 Days WFO and 2 Days WFH)
