About SAP STAR Program   

Global Student Training and Rotation (STAR) Program offers university students hands-on industry experience at SAP, the world’s leading software provider. As part of a global program across 14 countries, STAR students work on real business projects and develop professional skills. Unlike most internships, this program allows students to continue their studies at university without taking a break or needing to graduate first. Upon graduation, you will have opportunities to apply for open positions within SAP and potentially become a valued member of our team. 


 Education and Qualifications 

 Open to undergraduate and graduate students who meet the following requirements and process the core competencies listed below.  

  • Expected to graduate in Feb. 2027, Aug. 2027, or Feb. 2028 (required) 
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through academic, student, or extracurricular activities 
  • Strong communication, presentation, and sales pitching abilities 
  • Skilled in developing customer-centric outbound strategies and conducting in-depth market analysis 
  • Quick adaptability to digital tools, with a knack for driving innovative strategies 
  • Passionate about building a career in Sales, Business Development, or Customer Engagement 
  • Fluent in English with strong professional communication skills 


Role Overview: Sales Development Executive 

 The program includes a rotation system that allows you to participate in three different projects or teams within the organization. Your first rotation will be in the Sales Development Executive role. The Digital Sales Development Associate (SDE) plays a critical role in guiding and influencing customers to make informed decisions in the early stages of their digital transformation journey. Through digital-first, multi-touch engagement, the SDE delivers a world-class customer experience while driving early-stage pipeline creation and customer engagement. 

The role is responsible for building, qualifying, and nurturing sales pipeline and incremental revenue in close alignment with Sales and Marketing teams. The SDE focuses on prospecting into both Net New Name (NNN) and SAP install-base accounts, nurturing leads into qualified opportunities within the assigned territory, and ensuring high-quality digital engagement with potential customers. 

In this role, you will continuously develop strong business acumen, industry understanding, and consultative selling skills while supporting customers at the beginning of their cloud and digital transformation journey. 


Program & Work Details 

  •  18-month structured program with learning, mentorship, and rotations 
  • Employment Type: Fixed-term Intern 18 months 
  • Probation Period: 3 months from the date of hire (extendable if necessary) 
  • The detailed working conditions will be subject to the employment agreement 
  • Full-time (40 hrs/week) during breaks; part-time (20 hrs/week) or full-time during semesters  
  • Flexible hours aligned with academic schedules  
  • Eligible to apply for full-time roles after 9 months and graduation  
  • Supports university field practicum / academic credit programs (대학 현장실습 프로그램 / 학점인정 프로그램).

  • Phone Interview: February-May 2026 
  • Functional Interview (Bootcamp): Mid-May 2026 
  • Offer Announcement: May to June 2026 
  • Official start date: July 6, 2026
