The purpose of this role is to primarily manage Compensation & Benefits (C&B) functions, ensuring competitive and fair remuneration structures while providing specialized first-line HR support in C&B matters to the business in Korea. You will deliver value to employees at key touch points related to rewards, benefits, and HR administration. Acting as an ambassador for our C&B processes, you will actively support the HR team in the strategic development of our total rewards strategies and the overall services provided.


Job responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Compensation & Benefits Management:
    • Oversee payroll management, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
    • Manage & Support budget planning
    • Calculate and process various incentives and commissions, including monthly incentive commission reports.
    • Manage severance pay and retirement pension schemes.
    • Administer social insurance (4 major insurances)
    • Handle employee overtime (OT) calculation, annual leave and work schedule management.
    • Arrange and manage year-end tax adjustments for all employees.
  • Data Management:
    • Prepare and maintain HC reports, providing accurate and timely data for HR planning.
  • Employee Well-being & Safety:
    • Coordinate and arrange mandatory Health & Safety training for employees.
    • Coordinate employee health check-ups and welfare program operations.
    • Coordinate group insurance programs, including updates.
  • Compliance & Communication:
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of C&B-related legal requirements and ensure strict adherence.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for and maintain seamless communication with payroll vendors.
    • Foster positive and effective communication channels with all employees to address C&B inquiries and concerns.
  • Administrative & Operational Support:
    • Efficiently handle various ad-hoc tasks, providing quick feedback and solutions.
    • Provide reception services for company guests.
    • Perform other HR duties as required by the company.


Profile

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant HR experience (Max 7 years preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detailed-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proactive attitude with strong ad-hoc task processing capabilities and quick feedback.
  • Solid knowledge of labor laws and C&B related regulations.
  • Native proficiency in Korean and Business-level proficiency in English.


Additional information

  • Experience in HR within the luxury or retail industry.
  • Possession of HR-related certifications.
