This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of Supply Chain Planning operations within a luxury fashion environment.
The intern will support the team in sales forecasting, buying & demand analysis, stock allocation, inbound/outbound coordination, and overall inventory flow management.
Through this role, the candidate will learn how sales, merchandising, logistics, and distribution are connected, and how planning decisions drive business performance.
Job responsibilities
1. Sales & Demand Planning Support
- Assist in monthly sales forecast updates, including data extraction, consolidation, and formatting.
- Support preparation of sales performance reports, sell-through analysis, and forecasting decks.
- Help monitor key KPIs (sales trend, stock level, coverage, availability rates) for weekly and monthly reviews.
- Conduct basic data checks and maintain forecasting inputs under manager guidance.
2. Buying & Inventory Planning Support
- Participate in analysis of product performance, assortment, and buying trends.
- Assist in in-season stock monitoring, including shortage identification and replenishment needs.
- Help maintain seasonality, product classification, and stock master data accuracy.
3. Distribution & Allocation Support
- Assist with allocation planning by preparing stock status files, store needs, and availability checks.
- Support inbound & outbound coordination, including tracking deliveries, updating ETAs, and preparing follow-up lists.
- Help monitor rebalancing actions across the boutique network and assist in generating related reports.
4. Reporting & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Prepare and update simple daily/weekly operational reports with guidance from the planning team.
- Support communication with Merchandising, Retail, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operational flows.
- Handle ad-hoc analysis and tasks as assigned by the Planning Manager.
Profile

- Strong interest in fashion, supply chain, data, or business operations
- Basic proficiency in Excel (PivotTable, simple formulas preferred)
- Ability to work with numbers and attention to detail
