많은 기업에서 영어면접을 보죠. 대기업에서도 영어 면접을 보는데 아래의 7가지 질문은 꼭 답변을 스크립트화 해서 준비해 가시는 것을 추천합니다. 아래 7가지만 잘 준비하면 7가지의 답변을 믹스해서 다른 질문에도 적용할 수 있습니다.
예문은 문장이 길 수 있는데, 이거 다 끊어서 간결한 여러 문장으로 만드셔서 답변하셔도 됩니다.
1. 짧은 자기소개 (Tell me about yourself)
영어로 자기소개 하는 건데 1~3분 정도 준비하시면 됩니다. 이름 – 학교 – 가지고 있는 역량으로 준비하시면 되며, 이게 좀 짧으면 뒤에 지원동기를 추가하시면 됩니다.
예를 들어 I’m Gayoung Lee graduating from Hankook univeristy this September~~~. I’m well matched with this position as I have relevant skill set acquired by the similar experience from the last internship~~ 이런식으로 이어나가면 되죠
2. 지원동기 (Why are you interested in this company?)
이 질문에는 “채용공고에는 ~한 역량을 보유하는 사람을 모집하고 있는데, 내가 이러한 역량을 보유하고 있어서 지원하게 되었다” 라는 식으로 답변을 준비하면 됩니다.
When I saw the job positng, this position need a talent with communication skill and data analysis ability. I raised my data analyticial skill from my last internship in S electronics. I covered the e-commerce industry that this company also handle as of now. I’m quite confident that all my experience would help contribute to this company utilizing my analysis skill.
3. 취미는 무엇인가, 쉴 때는 뭘하나? (What do you do in your free time / spare time?)
이 질문은 뭐 지난주에 뭐했나? 어제 뭐했나? 친구들과 보통 뭐하고 지내나? 등의 모든 질문에 해당하는 답변을 준비하시면 가장 좋습니다.
I usually watch movies alone in my home drinking beer. I lastly watched “Dark knight” with the beers called Kelly… What was interesting in the movie was Batman’s agony…~
4. 본인의 장단점 (Strengh and weakness, Strong point and Weak point)
본인의 장단점은 장점, 단점 각각 준비하시는게 좋으며 흐름이 이어지면 좋죠. 예를 들어 난 사람들과 잘 어울리는 사교적인 성격인데, 이러한 성격 탓에 사실 외로움을 많이 느낀다. 사교적인건 장점인것 같지만 외로움을 많이 느끼는 건 단점인것 같다라는 식으로 장점으로 인한 단점처럼 흐름이 이어지면 좋습니다.
I’m sociable so I get along with people so well without any troubles. I can even get close to the people who I first meet. However, due to this personality, It’s easy for me to feel loneliness ~~
5. 성공한 경험 혹은 실패한 경험이 있나? (Any success or failure you experience in the past?)
이건 자기소개에서 했던 역량을 가질 수 있었던 경험을 쓰면 됩니다. (실패한 경험에서는 배운점에 대해 명확히 서술하는 것이 중요합니다)
In my past experience, I joined the intership as a data analyst. I was struggling to keep up with company guidelines in the first place. Then, I utilized my data-based knowledge to analyze e-commerce data at 360 degree~~ I got a lot of compliment on my first project~~
6. 우리가 왜 당신을 고용해야 하나? (Why should I hire you?)
이 질문에는 본인이 보유한 관련 역량을 기술적인 부분과 태도적인 부분으로 나눠서 대답하면 좋죠
Since I have last experience in data analysis, it will help to study widened industry for this company. Plus, I’m super sociable to get long with people in this organization, this character live up and jazz up my team to get better result on the performance.
7. 스트레스 관리는 어떻게 하나? (How can you manage your stress?)
이건 진짜 솔직히 스트레스 푸는 방식을 설명하면 되죠. 다만 스트레스를 풀고나서 업무나 공부에 더 집중되어서 결과가 더 잘 나왔던 경험을 곁들여 설명하면 신빙성이 올라갑니다.
I usually watch TV series through Netflix. I recently got stressed out to get English test score. I needed to get the English test score above 900. I normally study English for more than 8 hours a day, but sometimes I’m definitely tired of studying English. Then, I watch Netflix for more than 2 hours to get refreshed. Through this activity, I finally got the score that I wanted to have.
