Responsibilities
- Involve in customer’s new business tenders, solutions and quotations
- Develop the best possible solutions to DHL customer’s transport requirements
- nitiate transport service, technology and operation model and liaise with the head of transportation to implement the concept
- Clearly outline solutions in appropriate formats for presentation to internal / customers. Participate in customer presentations where required
- Handle all or specified transport improvement or consulting project(s) using
- Routing simulation tool, Excel spreadsheet and any other quality modeling tool
- Ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded by designing and involving in implementing a solution that fits the customer’s needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Intermediate level of English (spoken and written)
- Understanding of transport operations (FTL, LTL, dedicated fleet, distribution, cross docking).
- Advanced Excel and data modelling capability; experience with routing/optimization tools.
- Understanding of fleet specifications, regulations, and driver labour rules.
