Who We Are & Who We’re Looking For
As part of the Business Development Department, the Global Strategy Team at Neople drives global expansion through market research, strategic planning, and cultural insights. We seek a globally experienced strategist with a deep understanding of the gaming industry and a passion for identifying new opportunities to expand Neople’s portfolio. This individual should excel at analyzing gaming market trends, fostering strategic partnerships, and engaging global users.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis: Identify and analyze global gaming trends, player behaviors, and competitor movements to deliver actionable insights.
- Research & Cultural Insights: Provide in-depth research on global culture, social issues, and player preferences.
- Strategy Development: Formulate and execute strategies to expand Neople’s gaming portfolio and enter new markets.
- Opportunity Identification: Evaluate emerging markets for potential expansion and opportunities to grow the Dungeon & Fighter IP globally.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent or native proficiency in Korean and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
(Open to foreign nationals, but fluency in spoken and written Korean is required.) - Extensive experience living abroad with a deep understanding of Western culture and gaming trends.
- Strong ability to analyze global gaming markets and derive actionable insights.
- Highly autonomous, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Desired Qualifications
- Passionate gamer with experience across multiple genres and platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of gaming culture and subcultures worldwide.
- Understanding of Neople’s game titles and the Dungeon & Fighter IP.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Confluence).
- Experience using or managing social media platforms (X, Discord, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok).
