Company Summary Smith & Associates knows electronic components inside and out. We use that knowledge to offer procurement and supply chain services to electronics manufacturers. As the top independent distributor, we are looking for quick, independent, motivated, and talented people to join our expert international team to help customers save money and keep their productions going. Position Summary For 3 months, our Sales Interns are immersed in a vigorous environment with direct access to senior sales representatives and managers in an open working environment that is designed to encourage the free flow of ideas and information. Sales Interns gain familiarity with the physical flow of commodities in both domestic and international markets and an understanding of Smith & Associates’ position in a global market. Sales activities are conducted through various affiliates in cities around the world; thus, Sales Interns directly impact both sales and deliveries of commodities to customers across the globe. Interns will assist with driving sales results by generating sales leads, via internet and cold calling.  Each intern will research and execute projects during the duration of their internship, ending with a presentation to senior leaders and executives.  Internships are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Good performers will offer with a full-time position. Minimum Qualifications: Qualified candidates must be a self-starter; results oriented, and have a previous track record of achievementUniversity graduates in 2021/2022.Fluent in English and Korean. Japanese / Chinese is a plus.
