DESCRIPTION

Amazon Web Services Korea is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented individual to join our Data Center Engineering Operations Team. This committed group works to maintain the critical physical infrastructure that supports Amazon Web Services. Specifically, this team works to ensure that the data center’s MEP operates at 100% availability while maintaining first-class customer service to the teams and groups within the data centers.

The Data Center Engineering Operations(DCEO) is responsible for ensuring that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center is operating within contract parameters within third party Colocation facilities. Often this will be including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management and metric reporting.

DCEO는 데이터 센터 내의 모든 전기, 기계 및 화재 / 안전 장비가 계약 조항에 맞게 운영되도록 벤더 및 시설을 관리하는 업무를 담당합니다. 주요 업무에는 인프라의 장애 예방/유지 관리, 리스크 관리, 업체 관리 및 관련 보고 업무가 포함됩니다.

근무지역 : 서울/경기/인천 근교


Key job responsibilities
-Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility operations and maintenance
-Responsible for the on-site management of shift technicians, senior shift technicians, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with established practices and procedures.
-Manage relationship with third party Colocation providers and their facility staff
-Responsible for the operation of and management of both routine and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as: switch-gear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc.
-Data Center capacity planning and reporting
-Assist in the design and build out of new facilities
-Assist in projects to increase current Facility efficiency
-Deliver quality service and ensure all customer demands are met
-Procurement for DCEO related expenditure
-Responsible for asset and inventory management
-Perform replacement of internal and external hardware parts of Servers and Network devices
-Understand DCEO operational metrics and drive actions to achieve the targets

-신규 시설의 설계 및 건축에 참여
-기존 시설 운영의 효율성 향상을 위한 프로젝트 참여
-IT 매니저 및 기타 비즈니스 리더와 협력하여 프로젝트 관리, Capacity 관리, 플랜트 안전/성능/효율성 및 신뢰성 최적화
-고객 수요를 충족하는 양질의 서비스 제공
-DCEO 관련 구매
-자산 및 재고 관리
-하드웨어 진단 및 시스템 및 네트워크 장애처리 / 서버 및 네트워크 장치의 HW 부품 교체
-DCEO가 관리해야 하는 운영 항목에 대해 이해하고 목표 달성을 위한 계획 실행

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

-Domestic/foreign bachelor’s degree(Applicants are expected to graduate in Aug 2023/Feb 2024 or graduated or those having less than 2 years of relevant experience)
-Fundamental knowledge of engineering
-Those who can work for more than 3 months from Jan 2024
-Those who can work continuously from Apr 2024 if they become eligible for conversion to regular employees through job evaluation
-This position also has a physical component requiring the ability to lift rack equipment up to 20kg; it may require working in cramped spaces or using portable ladder in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
-Basic English reading, writing and speaking skills
-Applicants must have valid work authorization in Korea
-Applicants must not have restriction of traveling abroad
-This role involves covering 24×7 shift rotation

-20kg 이내의 무게를 가진 서버 랙 관련 자재를 들어올릴 수 있는 능력(건강/안전 관리 지침 아래 좁은 공간 또는 이동식 사다리를 이용하여 작업 할 수 있습니다)
-기본적인 영어 읽기/쓰기/회화가 가능한 분
-국내법상 대한민국 내에서 취업 가능하신 분
-해외여행 결격 사유가 없으신 분
-24X7 교대 근무 가능하신 분

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

-Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Industrial/Physical/Chemical/Aeronautical/Energy/Infra Engineering or relevant discipline.
-Business English communication skills (both verbal and written)
-Engineering related certificates
-High degree of organization and detail-orientation
-Ability to consistently deliver results despite competing priorities and distractions
