Description of the team/position
• You will join the MAKESTAR Global Shopping Team, which distributes various products targeting global K-Culture fans of K-Pop, K-Drama, K-Webtoon, and more. If you join the team as a Global SNS Marketer (Social Media Specialist), you will plan and operate content across various owned media channels and execute brand strategies for social media platforms to drive sales and traffic to our website. Your overall mission is to provide enjoyable experiences for global K-Pop fans across every step of the customer journey.
Working Conditions
• Employment Type: Full-Time (3~6 months of trial period with full benefits and salary)
• Working Hours: 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) 10:00am-7:00pm
• Work Location: 29, Hakdong-ro 23-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul

Main Duties
• Manage and operate MAKESTAR’s global owned media channels across social media platforms (channels including but not limited to the following; TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest)
• Plan and operate various marketing campaigns and organic contents, while managing a social media contents calendar for channel-specific content
• Build a content rating metric and analysis system to make weekly/monthly report; derive marketing insights from previous campaigns and apply them to next campaign or post
• Collaborate with influencers, building optimized tiered approach from brand ambassador, macro/micro influencers to authentic fans to enhance brand resonance across the K-Pop fandom market
• Communicate and collaborate with related teams (graphic design, data analysis, etc) for channel growth and KPI fulfillment
• Continuously communicate with global fans through social media channels
• Operate both paid and owned media in a consistent manner, aligning owned social media channels with promotions and sales strategies to drive maximum traffic and sales
• Real-time monitoring of related social media content; identify, monitor and engage with what’s trending
Required Qualifications
• Native levels of English; business-level Korean
• Strong understanding of social media and the capabilities of different channels relevant to global K-Pop fans, including TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and more
• Minimum 1 year experience in social media management / content marketing / new media marketing to a global (or English-speaking) audience
• Direct experience in planning and operating social media channels for a commercial brand or media outlet
• Must include portfolio AND/OR link to social media channel(s) that you have previously managed
Preferred Qualifications
• High levels of interest in K-Pop, K-Culture and relevant trends across social media
• Previous experiences of having managed or operated paid media campaigns for a commercial brand
• Previous experiences of having worked in a global brand / marketing agency
• Previous experiences of having collaborated with influencers, or managed paid influencer campaigns across social media channels
