JOB PURPOSE
This position is responsible for leading digital health care marketing in General Medicines Global Business Unit in Korea through strategic planning and effective marketing mix in collaboration with sales team and field marketing
ORGANIZATION CONTEXT
Solid line reporting to Diabetes franchise lead in General Medicines Business Unit in Korea
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Business plan/model development
– Analyze available market data & intelligence to monitor brand performance and to define key issue & opportunities
– Develop business plan for core brands aligned with global direction
– Identify new opportunities consistently to maximize sales
2. Prepare new business opportunities
– Find Korea transplant business opportunity along with global strategy
– Improve business model effectiveness
– Develop effective model with digital & omnichannel
3. Marketing strategy development & implementation
– Propose/implement product strategies by understanding market unmet needs
– Strong implementation for plan of action to achieve sales goal
– Prioritize resource allocations through Segmentation&Targeting
4. Lead business innovation
- Shape the market
– Establish new digital portfolio via keen collaboration with public affairs and market access
– Set new business model beyond drug – digital solution focused business development - Team management
-Provide Patient solution team and VHC lead vision, values and objectives
-Motivate and inspire the team to strengthen the team’s identity, achieve goals and establish organizational sustainability.
-Provide coaching, evaluation, and development programs for individuals and the team to maximize individual performance, develop job competency and career enhancement. - Business performance management
– Define team’s annual and long-term goals and develop and execute strategic field excellence plans by individual and territory and monitor progress.
– Actively acquire and evaluate the market situation and identify business opportunities and strategies in collaboration with relevant teams including marketing and sales team.
– Identify KTL & Key stakeholders and take responsible for KTL and key account management for partnership building. - PSP program & call center operation
– Manage the contract, service and system quality of an external vendor for PSP programs and an inbound call center where resolve customer’s complaints and inquires including pharmacovigilance issues
– Ensure and track compliance with SOP and regulatory/legal mandates that may affect contents and operations of suggested initiatives and programs
5. Resource allocation to maximize brand profit
– A&P management according to plan and market situation
– Understand and analyze P&L based on sales forecasting and A&P spending and FTE movement
6. Promotion tactics to maximize brand performance
-Develop key message and programs with patient centricity
– Communicate product benefits to all the relevant customers (HCP, Patients, Payer, Internal) effectively
– Develop optimal marketing mix in terms of specialty and disease to increase ROI
– Monitor performance and feedback and propose strategic adjustment
7. Cross function communication
– As a product champion, collaborate with relevant departments to achieve the product goal
8. Ethics and Compliance
– Comply with relevant legislation, ethical standards and company policies
JOB-HOLDER REQUIREMENTS
Education
– Bachelor degree or above
– High level of knowledge of Marketing, Business principles and Pharmaceutical business environment
Experience & knowledge
– Healthcare industry experience more than 6 years
– Experience in marketing department more than 3 year
– High experience to develop and implement business plan is preferred
– Experiences in Medical device industry are preferred

– In-depth knowledge/experience level in marketing and sales
– High level of leadership
– Ability to communicate commercial value of products to target audience
