PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Vocational Training Program is a unique opportunity to combine academic study with industry experience with SAP, the world’s leading business software provider. This program will kick start students’ careers by giving them an opportunity to put their academic studies to immediate use in industry. The wide-ranging program of studies provides for students an opportunity to develop themselves personally and professionally. Upon completion of your studies, you can consider employment in almost any area of the company. As an intern you are part of global Vocational Training (VT) / Student Training and Rotation (STAR) program. We are located in 14 countries with approx. 1,300 students.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
We require that you meet the core competencies and skills listed below.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related fields or related technical disciplines
- Will graduate in Feb. 2024, Aug. 2024, or Feb. 2025 (Is a Must)
- Good in communication (both writing and speaking; both English and Korean)
- Interpersonal networking and teamwork
- Eager to learn and grow with SAP Labs Korea
- An open-minded, problem-solving attitude, resilience, and positive spirit even under challenging conditions
Interview requirements:
- Score or certificate of English language assessment tests
PERSPECTIVES:
The Vocational Training Program at SAP Labs Korea offers a range of possibilities that allows you to continuously broaden your knowledge and pave the way for a successful career. This wide-ranging program of studies offers students an opportunity to develop themselves personally and professionally. The field of On-the-Job training is Staff/Technical Writer. The Staff (or Technical Writer) Intern will work closely with the Labs Korea senior leadership team, including MD (Managing Director) and COO (Chief Operation Officer) of SAP Labs Korea, for business strategy and operations of SAP Labs Korea. It will help you develop a broad and deep understanding of business and operation of a large multi-national company.
One of the primary tasks of this role is to support MD office’s day-to-day administrative work, such as preparing meetings with agenda collection, moderating meetings, creating meeting minutes, and tracking the identified action items. Another important task is to support creating internal/external documentations or video clips (e.g., Labs Korea newsletters, blogs, technical reports).
Your official start date at SAP is Early July 2023 and the total program period is 1 year to 1 year 6 months. During your semester break, you will work full-time at SAP, i.e. 40 hours per week. During the semester, you will work on average 20 hours per week at the company. You will be able to schedule your working time flexibly in accordance to your university schedule and the requirements of your department. You can apply for permanent positions after the completion of your studies, either in one of our business teams or in one of our graduate or Academy programs.
