Job Title: Account Management & Sales Support
Reports to: Head of Transaction Services Corporate Sales, Korea
Location: Seoul
Background
Transaction Services (“TS”) looks after the cash management and trade finance needs of customers across the ING franchise. This product line has been identified as key to the future growth of the ING Wholesale banking business.
ING is looking to expand its Transaction Services business in Asia. TS provides a challenging professional environment within ING Wholesale Banking, in a growing business serving corporate clients in an international environment. A solid experience in this complex and varied position will broaden career possibilities for a high achiever.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to Head of Transaction Services Corporate Sales, in their marketing efforts and implementing new TS business opportunities for corporate clients
- Respond to TS product related inquiries from internal and external clients in a timely matter. Liaise directly with clients to conduct transactional due diligence and execute deals.
- Maintain active contacts with stakeholders, such as other TS regional teams and ING network globally for client transactional matters and approvals
- Initiate and monitor transactions booked locally, escalating in a timely manner and obtaining approvals for deviations as necessary

Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum Honours Degree from a reputable university
- 1-2 years of banking experience will be an advantage
- Knowledge of Trade Finance/PCM and Credit experience will be an advantage
- Highly proficient in EXCEL, PowerPoint and word processing applications
- High level of self-motivation and result-oriented approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in working with/for internal and external clients
- Self-motivated and confident with a high degree of initiative, good team player
- Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Korean
