직무 소개

Korea Field Support Engineering team is a key connection point between local service operation and the global based development teams. This position will take the responsibility to keep our vehicles on the road through proactive analyses of the vehicle fleet and to reduce their time spent in service centers by effective remote/on-site diagnosis. This role requires to handle large amounts of data efficiently in order to process information and make correct conclusions in a timely manner. The candidate should have a strong technical background in diagnosing complex electromechanical systems with heavy software content and deployed in safety-critical applications. This engineer is passionate about diagnostics, thinks systemically with great understanding of technical system-level architecture and issues. The role provides support for local compliance, legal, homologation & business resolution teams to name a few. The position will report to the Staff field support engineer in Korea.



업무 내용

  • Learn how to debug systems and perform diagnostics on field failures both remotely – looking at data logged by the vehicle, and directly in the field
  • Support field issue investigation with a wide range of troubleshooting techniques and remote diagnosis, while some travel might be required to perform field diagnosis. This position requires daily work for Korea region mainly and support for other regions sitting in within Korea if necessary. 
  • Provide technical support to local service centers in order to minimize vehicle downtime, through day-to-day coverage of escalated regional field cases in a timely manner
  • On board to firmware OTA(Over-The-Air) process and support OTA filing to local authorities
  • Support OBD(On Board Diagnosis) development and remote/on-site validation
  • Provide data reports on local recall, service campaign or answering for RFI(Request for Information) from authorities
  • Perform fleet validation of navigation, charging, autopilot or any sort of sanity check and provide written feedback to the respective engineers to drive future improvements


자격 요건

  • Preferably studying towards a degree in Computer science or Electrical Engineering
  • Capable of self-reliant working in a fast paced and always changing environment
  • Personality with hands-on-mentality and proactive way of working & thinking
  • The ability to keep an overview and improve processes
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skill 
  • Native in Korean and good at English
