What you’ll do
- Proactively lead and support the downstream hardware AND resin for BP customers.
- Assertively promote best solutions based on the customers needs after thorough review on the supporting material of Cytiva hardware and resin.
- Bioprocess Downstream Application Specialist will collaborate with respective party (account managers, service specialists, upstream application specialist, GAE manager internally and many other external stakeholders) to make the best solutions for standardized and customized HW & Resin product design requirements.
- Find aggressively new Downstream hardware & Enterprise opportunity aligning & synergizing with account sales team to boost revenue of upstream business.
- Read and lead the global trend by planning and building short-term and long-term business strategies and offerings specializing downstream hardware, and resin product portfolio.
- Collaborate inclusively with diverse cross-country & cross-functional stakeholders – sales team, service team, and OTR team to lead the products compliant with quality systems and regulatory requirements.
- Bioprocess Downstream Application Specialist will strategically place the best resources in the best place and supporting all project teams with powerful problem-solving skills, predicting and responding issues in a very timely manner.
Who you are
- Assesses potential application of company products to meet customer needs pre and/or post-sales and prepares detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions in alignment with manufacturer stated specifications.
- Creates detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions.
- Builds mini-applications with process simulation, often requiring rapid software modeling and/or product demo/training (at conferences, seminars, trade shows, or customer sites) for customer.
- May assist with optimizing products to meet customer needs and workflow requirements.
