Position Summary

Be responsible for eCommerce merchandising in Korea; product planning, product buying for eCommerce channel and periodically report sell-thru progress of products. And analyze the status of on-hand inventory by season and recommend item for promotion to improve eCommerce sales.
Closely communicate with Merchandising team for developing eCommerce exclusive product and Supply Chain team for product delivery and inventory status.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish a long-term product plan considering the purchasing trend of online customers
  • Verify buying budget for future season and plan category portfolio 
  • Define specifically buying requirement through close communicate with MD team and eCommerce team
  • Submit eComm buying demand request (assortment, quantity, and amount)
  • Develop eComm exclusive product for UA.com and e-marketplace
  • Report product life cycle and recommend item for promotion to UA.com and e-Marketplace
  • Closely work with eCommerce contents manager for brand site merchandising
  • Analyze the selling trend of eCommerce channel and report competitor trend
  • Forecast an available inventory based on on-hand inventory and sell-thru analysis

KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: Merchandising team, SCM team, brand site team and e-Marketplace team
External: APAC eCommerce and Local product shooting agency


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skill with stakeholders
  • Good English speaking preferred, but not mandatory
  • Good at Excel and PowerPoint preferred
  • Market research and sell-thru reporting skill
     

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics or Fashion
  • 3 – 6 years’ experience in Merchandizing and eCommerce
  • Retail or eCommerce industry 
  • No Leadership/Managerial experience required
